Live Report: Kings of Leon wrap up Electric Picnic 2025 with colourful main stage show
Kings of Leon finish off the festival weekend on a blissful note with a set full of familiar singalong favourites.
For the final main stage performance of Electric Picnic 2025, Kings of Leon are keeping spirits high with a series of nostalgic hits performed immaculately as ever.
They start off with up-beat pop track 'Rainbow Ball', from their latest album Can We Please Have Fun. The track sees audiences dancing and shouting out lyrics along with the band, a sign that fans are quick to embrace new releases as much as old favourites.

The old favourites are ever-present, of course. 'Use Somebody' and 'Back Down South' garner cheers from the crowd, which appears to put a smile on frontman Caleb Followill's face.
"Hello Electric Picnic!" Followill shouts between songs. "How y’all doing tonight?"
The setlist drifts between classic alternative to psychedelic rock to indie pop to country-infused sounds. It's a prime opportunity for Followill to show off the impressive vocal range that put the band on the map.

As the sound changes, so too do dream-like visuals shift and swirl to match in a kaleidoscope of colour. The band is as vivid as ever tonight.
Despite the darkening night, fans are everywhere: watching and cheering from the pit, the bleachers and even some on the ferris wheel.

Kings of Leon conclude the set with beloved hit 'Sex on Fire', which won them a Grammy Award and earned them 7 Platinum certifications.
"If it's not forever, if it's just tonight, oh, we're still the greatest," sings Followill, joined by a chorus of thousands of fans singing along.

Kings of Leon's iconic collection of high-energy anthems are the perfect finale for an unforgettable weekend of joy and song, leaving satisfied festivalgoers dancing all the way home.
