Johnny Marr announces Dublin show
Tickets will go on sale Friday, November 28 at 10am.
Johnny Marr will play a headline show at Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 10, 2026. It marks his first solo Dublin date since 2018.
The announcement is Marr’s first confirmed Irish date for 2026. He will perform his largest-ever solo headline show at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on July 9, the night before the Dublin gig, followed by further US dates in March as part of the California Calling Tour.
His 2024 live album Look Out Live! was released this year, featuring recordings from his sold-out show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
Marr’s recent work includes four new songs with Gorillaz for their upcoming album The Mountain and a collaboration with Franz Ferdinand on the single ‘Build It Up’. He also reunited onstage with The The’s Matt Johnson at the Forever Now Festival in 2025.
Marr rose to prominence as guitarist and co-songwriter with The Smiths before launching a solo career that produced five UK Top 10 albums, including The Messenger, Playland, and Fever Dreams Pts 1–4.
His collaborations include The Pretenders, Modest Mouse, Hans Zimmer, Billie Eilish, and more.
Tickets for Johnny Marr at the Iveagh Gardens will go on sale Friday, November 28 at 10am.
