JC Stewart's 'Lying That You Love Me' named BBC Radio 1 Track of the Week
The Derry singer-songwriter has captured the hearts of BBC Radio 1 with his latest captivating single.
JC Stewart's powerful ballad 'Lying That You Love Me' has earned the title of 'Track of the Week' on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show.
The Derry singer-songwriter is rising quickly to the top, earning praise from Niall Horan and racking up millions of Spotify — all before even releasing a full-length album. His melancholic tracks are vulnerable and powerful, garnering worthy comparisons to his pal Lewis Capaldi.
On 'Lying That You Love Me', he once again wears his heart on his sleeve as he sings about yearning for a lover who won't love him back. The pain is palpable in his voice, and the soaring high notes are stunning. As one of Hot Press' 'Hot for 2020' acts, we won't be surprised to see more singing his praise this year.
