Jazzy's debut single 'Giving Me' awarded Diamond status

Jazzy recently won two awards at the Choice Music Prize, and earned Brit Award nomination for ‘Giving Me’.

Jazzy has received diamond status in Ireland for her single ‘Giving Me’.

The single made her the first woman in over 14 years to earn the No. 1 spot on music charts as well as UK Top 3 hit and named the biggest UK debut single of 2023.

Diamond status is the highest level of certification a song can receive. This is the second time one of Jazzy’s tracks has reached diamond status. When she collaborated with Belters Only to create ‘Make Me Feel Good’ which featured Jazzy, the single became the first Irish dance act to receive diamond status.

This year, Jazzy has also won the RTE Choice Music Prize for Irish Artist of the Year and Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year. She has also been nominated for International Song of the Year at the Brit Awards 2024 and she was awarded one of the Official Charts Company’s top 10 awards.

When talking about the track and its success Jazzy says, “This day one year ago I released "Giving Me"... and now it's gone diamond! What a year it's been, I know I'm always saying it but I can't thank all of yous enough for all of the love and support on this song.”

Jazzy has many gigs planned throughout the summer including shows at Punchestown Racecourse, Kildare with Belters Only on June 3.

She will also be hosting a charity event in Dublin entitled Jazzy & Friends in Aid of Children’s Health Foundation on April 4 at 3Olympia. Jazzy will perform with a number of surprise special guests for this exclusive sold out event.

The Children’s Health Foundation raises funds for sick children and their families in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres.

Jazzy has become a rising star in the Irish music scene since the release of her breakthrough EP Constellations and from her first Irish and UK headline tour.

Her single with Belters Only, ‘Make Me Feel Good’ was top five in the UK and was top 20 most streamed songs in 2022. ‘Giving Me’ has amassed over 650 million streams globally.
