Jazzy and Newdad amongst the recipients of Ticketmaster's Breakthrough grant
Previous beneficiaries include the likes of Central Cee and Holly Humberstone
Ireland’s Jazzy and Newdad have been revealed as recipients of Ticketmaster’s Breakthrough acts grant, which will see each artist receive £5,000 in funding.
2024’s Breakthrough list from the UK and Ireland also includes Bellah Mae, Jeshi, Elmiene, Nieve Ella, No Guidnce, Olivia Dean, Only The Poets and recent 2024 BRITS Rising Star award winners The Last Dinner Party.
Ticketmaster’s annual Breakthrough list is a hand-picked selection of artists, bands and singer-songwriters tipped to make waves in live settings worldwide.
NewDad by Meghan McKennaPrevious lists have included the likes of four-time nominee and two-time MOBO Award winner Central Cee, BRIT Award winner Holly Humberstone, five-time Grammy Awards nominees Wet Leg, and most recently FLO, winners of the BRITS Rising Star Award for 2023.
“These ten acts have been shining at grassroots venues up and down the country, and we know they have what it takes to make their mark on this industry,” said Andrew Parsons, Managing Director Ticketmaster UK.
“That’s why we’re committed to having their backs as they grow, helping with the costs faced on the road and showcasing them to a whole new legion of fans. We can’t wait to see the heights they hit in 2024.”
