Jason Isbell says he'll record charity covers album of Georgia songs if Biden wins the state
Biden is currently in the lead in Georgia.
As Joe Biden edges closer to victory in the US presidential election, Jason Isbell has announced that he'll "make a charity covers album" of his favourite songs from Georgia, if the Democratic candidate wins the state.
Today, Biden has overtaken Donald Trump in Georgia, as counties in the state reported more absentee ballots. No Democrat has won the state since 1992.
Taking to Twitter, acclaimed singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, originally from Alabama, revealed that he'll record an covers album featuring songs from "REM, Gladys Knight, Vic Chesnutt, Allmans, Cat Power, Precious Bryant, Now It's Overhead, etc..."
"And damn is that gonna be fun," he added.
