Jape 'The Heart’s Desire' - Track Review

Born from a bassline and built around a playground-esque melody, Mr. Egan’s new single is an eargasm-inducing slab of finely crafted indie electro pop. Lifted from 2015’s The Chemical Sea, the song is ethereal in places and features a fusion of ice-cold synths, studio wizardry and more traditional, organic sounds. All in all, it bodes well for the follow up to 2011’s award-winning Ocean Of Frequency.
