IRISH PREMIERE: Joel Harkin shares new single 'Vada'

Following the release of 'No Recycling', which premiered on Hot Press back in March, Joel Harkin returns with 'Vada' – the second single from his highly anticipated debut album, Never Happy.

The release follows Joel's stellar sets at Output Belfast and Other Voices in Ballina earlier this year – where his unique brand of lo-fi alternative folk was met with widespread acclaim.

Like previous releases, 'Vada' showcases the Donegal singer-songwriter's dazzlingly unconventional approach to  songwriting – with lyrics exploring a scenario in which Joel's friends from Letterkenny and Thomas J., the character from the 1991 classic My Girl, exist in the same universe...

The release further establishes Joel as one of the most exciting new talents in Irish music. Listen below:
