Irish Music Video Goes Viral With Thirteen Million Views in a Week
Irish fusion band 'Jiggy' take the internet by storm with new video celebrating the global togetherness of dance.
Jiggy released their new video on Thursday the 14th of September, racking up to date more than 13 million views on Facebook and over 280,000 unique shares online.
From pirouetting professional ballerina's to toppless, tip-tapping old men,the video for 'Silent Place' celebrates the unifying aspects and uplifting nature of dance.
The viral hit has introduced the band to a brand new audience worldwide as their debut album 'Translate' currently sits at number 1 in the Irish world music charts and number 2 in United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.
They're set to join Ryan Tubridy and co on tomorrow's Late Late show to perform their unique fusion of Irish trad, Indian folk and electronica.
