Guest appearances on the ROGAN x ØMEGA project include Sky Sports presenters and football sensation Adebayo Akinfenwa.
Louth-based alternative hip-hop duo RÓGAN x ØMEGA have returned with their brand new project, titled Don't Forget To Remember Radio: Episode 1.
Hosted by RTE DJ Beta Da Silva, the EP revolves around three tracks with snippets of comic relief and relatable discussions interspersed within the project to give listeners a radio experience.
Produced by CXDY, CHAZ, WHSPR & PalmTreePrince, Don't Forget To Remember Radio: Episode 1 is inspired by Japanese culture.
“It feels like an urban metropolitan. I picture people driving through downtown Tokyo at night tuning in to listen “Don’t Forget To Remember Radio” as well as Dublin City,” RÓGAN x ØMEGA said of the EP.
The combination of modern hip-hop blended with trap influences and glitch production are matched with razor-sharp lyricism and ear-catching hooks.
“We have this infectious energy as well as the ability to create in pockets at speed," ØMEGA said.
"We don’t have defined sound as we find ourselves comfortable jumping on any type of production. We cover all the bases as a duo.”
Having individually released music in 2019, the pair debuted the music video for the single 'Murder She Wrote' in January with visuals from international director Ovie Etseyatse.
RÓGAN has steadily risen through the Irish hip-hop ranks since releasing his debut project Arrogant back in 2017. Last year he took home the title of Beat Club Champion at Dublin's annual Beat Club competition, hosted by Mathman. Empowered by the win, Rógan went on to release his self-produced EP Hypocrite.
Bristol-born and Ardee-raised rapper/producer ØMEGA enjoyed a similarly successful 2019 – with performances at Electric Picnic and the Dublin Fringe Festival, as well as scored coveted spots on Spotify's The New Eire playlist. He also teamed up with Souletiquette DJ and producer Ill Diam to present his debut EP, The Metropolitan Project, last year, with lead single 'Any Day' premiering on Hot Press.
