Irish folk act Davie Furey shares 'Spaces Full' from new LP Haunted Streets
'Haunted Streets' marks the follow-up to Furey's well-received 2015 debut 'Easy Come Easy Go'.
Folk singer Davie Furey has dropped a new track titled 'Spaces Full' from his latest album, the impressive Haunted Streets.
The uptempo-summer track features on his independently-released album, which saw the troubadour collaborate with some of Ireland's top musicians; including Steve Wickham from The Waterboys and Darren Holden of The High Kings. ELLYD, Susan O’Neill, Clare Sands and Robbie Campion also make an appearance.
Furey sings the lyrics over the strumming of a guitar which will easily land this upbeat track on your summer playlist.
Furey credited the "eclectic feel," of his new independently released album to the artists he worked with in an interview with Hot Press earlier this year.
“I didn’t ask them to sing in this key or to vocalise these notes; it was totally a matter of trust. As a solo artist, it’s a lovely experience. We were touring in between, and then you’d have to wait to get everybody in the studio at the right time, but I was in no rush to finish the album. There was no hard work involved at all, except getting the money to pay for it," he said.
