Irish experimental rock duo Bicurious announce new single
‘I Don’t Do Drugs, I Just Sweat A Lot’
Dublin-based experimental rock duo Bicurious release their new single ‘I Don't Do Drugs, I Just Sweat a Lot’, one year after the release of their debut EP I'm So Confused.
In support of the new material the band will be touring throughout the UK and Ireland in February and March 2019, with a special single release show planned in their home town of Dublin on March 8, 2019 at The Workman’s Club.
Today, the band present the official video for the new single, which was directed, filmed and edited by Matteo Casalegno, and produced by Alessandro Vinci c/o Narrow Door, Matteo Casalegno, and Bicurious.
“‘I Don’t Do Drugs…’ is about this fictional character's inability to understand the music he finds himself listening to, to a point where he almost loses his mind,” says guitarist Taran Plouzané of the song.
“We just wanted to capture the confusion that someone would experience if they had never heard anything like one of our songs before. It's fun to imagine them freaking out.”
