Irish acts dominate UK’s Vinyl Singles Chart - with KNEECAP and Lankum at No.1 and No.2
‘No Comment’ and ‘Ghost Town’ feature on the chart ahead of singles from Raye, Chappell Roan, Queen, Olivia Dean and Sabrina Carpenter.
KNEECAP's ‘No Comment’ and Lankum's cover of ‘Ghost Town’ by The Specials have scored the top two spots in the Official Charts list of best-selling vinyl singles of the week in the UK.
Featuring Sub Focus, ‘No Comment’ stands in the top spot, ahead of ‘Ghost Town’, which places second.
Official Charts Company bases its UK's biggest-selling vinyl singles of the week on the sales of seven and twelve inch formats across seven days.
Since releasing ‘No Comment’, KNEECAP have released their newest single ‘Liars Tale’. The new track was released ahead of the drop of their upcoming album Fenian, which is set to be released on April 24.
Fenian is said to feature a collaboration with Lankum's vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Radie Peat on ‘Cocaine Hill’.
‘Ghost Town’ is Lankum's first release since the drop of their live album Live In Dublin in 2024.
Elsewhere, the Irish folk group's track ‘The Granite Graze’ from their 2017 record Between the Earth and Sky was featured on Netflix's House of Guinness.
