Instagram post suggests new Interpol album almost complete

Captioned ‘Mastering’, this may indicate that the New Yorkers’ latest release is imminent after the announcement of a 2018 record on Matador earlier this year.

Just last year, Interpol celebrated the 15th birthday of their classic debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights, by going on an anniversary world-tour. The band last released a full-length in 2014’s El Pintor.

Although no formal announcement has been made, the post suggests the band are in the process of mastering their new studio album, which should set-off excitement among indie-rock fans.
