In Ear Park
GRIZZLY BEAR STALWART AND FRIEND ON PASTORAL FOLK TRIP
Department of Eagles features Grizzly Bear’s Daniel Rossen and his mate Fred Nicholas flexing their solo project muscles, and the delightful ,In Ear Park is their sophomore effort. What we have on offer is a clutch of tender tunes about Daniel’s childhood memories (specifically of his father) delivered in a style not too far away from Devendra Banhart or Bon Iver. ,In Ear Park mightn’t be the most musically exciting release of the year, but it is one of the most honest and for that reason it’s definitely worth taking a chance on.
