Taking cues from the legendary Bill Withers, 23 year-old Michael Kiwanuka operates just with a guitar and his voice, and does a fantastic job of making you forget about the simplicity of his set-up. ‘I’m Getting Ready’ is one of three gentle but heartfelt jams on his debut EP.
