Celtic - The Musical is Coming to Dublin next Autumn
The musical about the history of Celtic FC is coming to the Gaiety Theatre next September for six shows.
Alterean Media - the company that bought us One Night In Istanbul and The Official History of Liverpool FC - are back with their brand new stage show, Celtic - The Musical.
The musical, which will premiere at Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre before moving to Dublin, has been backed by Celtic FC with Chief Executive Peter Lawwell saying, "Celtic is a Club like no other, with the richest history and tradition and a wonderful story which deserves to be told in this way. The Musical will be a celebration of Celtic, one of the world’s true great football clubs and will take the audience on a fantastic journey through almost 130 years of history.”
Celtic has a long, rich history and the musical will bring viewers on an emotional journey through it. From the clubs foundation by Brother Walfrid and his charitable beginnings,
the years of legendary manager Willie Maley and legendary players such as Jock Stein, Billy McNeill, Tommy Burns and Henrik Larsson, who's legacy's will forever live on with supporters of the club.
The musical will also feature the chants and songs that represent the club and can be heard in the stand of Celtic Park.
The shows writer Nick Allt recalls how legendary the history of Celtic FC is “Celtic’s story is one about people, about immigration, and about a football club born of purpose. Growing up in Liverpool my family was always aware of Brother Walfrid, Celtic and its charitable foundations."
This could be a great Christmas present for Celtic fans or football lovers in general.

Tickets are on sale now from The Gaiety box office and usual outlets.
