I Will Be
Bubblegum punk debut logs 11 songs in 29 minutes. Genius.
Operating under the mantra that all the best songs last two minutes and are about the opposite sex, the Shangri-Las worshipping Dum Dum Girls’ have created a debut that is a riot from start to finish. Featuring 11 songs in a very tight 29 minutes, I Will Be is a homage to 60s girl bands and 70s Ramones-style punk rock and it perfectly fills the void left by Slumber Party and The Bangs. If you dig bubblegum pop rock, hand claps and finger-snaps, then chances are the Dum Dum Girls will be your new favourite band.
