I Will Always Love You
As cover versions go, this one is pretty unique. After learning of Whitney Houston’s death earlier this month, California rockers Girls decided to honour the singer by performing her biggest hit, ‘I Will Always Love You’ at a festival in Singapore. It’s tough not to wince as timid-voiced frontman Christopher Owens croaks his way through the chart-topping anthem, but while he doesn’t exactly have the pipes to rival the five-octave diva, it’s still a thoroughly touching tribute.
