I Wanna Go

When Britney 'What camera?' Spears dropped her Euro-fabulous new album Femme Fatale earlier in the year (her seventh and best, if you ask us), it was everything the pop-minded public had pined for, but the bright-eyed pre-Federline Britney still seemed a million miles away. When a leather-clad Spears appeared on stage with Rihanna at the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks later, she did what I imagine an aging Doris Day would do - a bunny hop along to be polite and try to be as inconspicuous as possible. It wasn't a good omen for her upcoming world tour, but the video for third single 'I Wanna Go' has cleared up any concerns over the 29-year-old's star power. This clip not only proves that some assistant is no longer operating Britney by method of marionette string, but also provides some genuine laugh-out-loud moments as Brit battles robotic paparazzi and delivers deliciously sarcastic answers at a bizarre press conference. Oh, and before you ask, understanding how she got her stomach to look like that after two kids is far beyond my analytical capabilities.
