Hypercity
While Weatherall is more normally found dropping grungy dancefloor electro these days, he has no problem changing direction and building a smooth and flowing mix built entirely from Force Tracks’ back catalogue.
Force Inc. must have quite a lot of pulling power, for they’ve roped in none other than Andrew Weatherall to help celebrate the fact that their deep/minimal house sub-label, Force Tracks, has released twenty five records. While Weatherall is more normally found dropping grungy dancefloor electro these days, he has no problem changing direction and building a smooth and flowing mix built entirely from Force Tracks’ back catalogue. In fact, his mix is so seamless that he lets rip from time to time with one of his trademark spin backs just to let you know it’s him and not a computer that has put together this clicking collection of contemporary house music.
