Particles in Space is the entrancing, cerebral, remix project of Armagh-born Hannah Peel’s 2017 acclaimed Mary Casio: Journey To Cassiopeia album.
Peel is a polymath -- singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and arranger -- now based in London, England. Peel has released records as a solo artist, as a member of the psychogeography indie rock group The Magnetic North and with many other collaborators.
Including artists from Northern Ireland -- namely the excellent Belfast-based ambient producer Arvo Party on 'Particle E5' -- France, Japan and Scotland, Peel enlisted a wide-ranging and talented group of independent engineers, producers and artists to reimagine her 2017 release.
With a shared love for space exploration and early electronic role models like Delia Derbyshire and Daphne Oram, this remix album reveals a selection of new artists -- much like the constant discovery of new particles in our galaxy and beyond.
This special release is available to stream on all major platforms now. The track-list is available below:
