Hot Press Track of the Day: The Eskies' new single ‘Shame'
The brass embellished track is the first single from their second album And Don’t Spare the Horses.
A unique blend of New Orlean’s jazz and swing is enhanced with The Eskies' infectious melodies and supporting harmonies. That sounds like a combination that would only appeal to a small minority, but the heavy brass section guarantees you’ll be hooked.
The Dublin outfit will be one of Ireland’s representatives at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival on Thursday, May 17. They'll be at Jubilee Square at 5:00pm. They are rapidly becoming accustomed to these appearances, having played over 40 festivals across 5 countries last year.
Their most recent album, And Don’t Spare the Horses, was released in December 2017.
