Hot Press Track of the Day: Susie Blue 'May Ninth'
Another absolute gem from Northern Irish indie rocker(s) on the rise.
Taken from Susie Blue's highly anticipated debut LP Didn't Mean To Care, which is scheduled for released in October, 'May Ninth' explores the ins and outs of short lived romances.
The band's heart-on-sleeve lyrical method, which first gripped our attention on Susie's previous singles 'Didn't Mean To Care' and 'She's A Keeper', are everywhere here, as are the soaring indie-rock hooks, all combining to make for a truly affecting song.
The self-directed video is also a whole lot more emotive and passionate than it rightfully should be, so props must be given to Susie's team for that.
Have a listen to 'May Ninth' here and get excited about hearing more from Susie Blue in the future:
