Hot Press Track of the Day: A Smyth 'Second Moon'
A Smyth's smooth, delicious vocals wash over the listener, leaving them feeling tranquil and reposed.
A track feels which richly atmospheric, Smyth's voice is breath-taking. Mixing gentle guitar strings with subtle percussion, A. Smyth paints sets down quite a romantic foundation. The lyrics explore a love story which is being held on pause, mixing heartbreak with tenacity (but in the most wholesome of ways!)
Darkness and light fuse together quite beautifully - references to horses and wild nature add a dash a mysticism to the already magical song.
Smyth released singles 'Into the Darkness', 'Coming Back To You' and 'Be There' earlier this year. Each release is said to build on the idea of sacrifice of past and present, in the hope of a bright future.
Have a listen to the new song here!
