South London-based Belfast songwriter/producer piglet, aka Charlie Loane, has just released the seven songs EP through indie label Blue Flowers, home to Puma Blue, Nilüfer Yanya, Westerman and more. Built around mesmerising electro soundscapes, the tracks detail Loane’s experiences of mental health, substance abuse, affirmations of self-identity, trans experience and friendship. Previously, piglet released a run of solo singles - ‘mill’, ‘dan’s note’ and ‘ oan’ - in 2021 and early 2022, as well as two collaborative numbers with Porridge Radio through Secretly Canadian.
