Hot for 2020 International Acts: Alexandra Savior

When a record company scout approached the then 16-year old Portland native, he allegedly offered to make her the next Katy Perry. She demurred and instead moved to Los Angeles where she wrote with ex-pat Arctic Monkey Alex Turner. There’s something of Lana Del Rey in her disembodied pop, but Savior brings a cryptic punch all her own.
