Homelands to return after a year absence - but no confirmed acts yet - or venue...
The Mean Fiddler Organisation have revealed that there will definitely be a Homelands festival this year in Ireland.
"We're 100% committed to staging the event," Mick O'Keefe tells hotpress.com. "As you're probably aware, we weren't able to run in 2001 because of the settlement of refugees at Mosney. Since then, we've identified a new venue which we'll announce when we're a bit further along with the planning process."
While O'Keefe says "it's too early to name names", hotpress.com understands that the bill will be similar to Homelands UK which kicks off on June 1st, and features Basement Jaxx, Oxide & Neutrino, Soft Cell, Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules, Laurent Garnier, Sasha, John Digweed, Roots Manuva, Zero 7, Carl Cox and Judge Jules among its headliners.
