High Irish presence at upcoming Satellite Awards

It's been a fantastic year for the Irish film industry and the upcoming Satellite Awards will feature a bunch of Irish nominations.
Led by the International Press Academy, there are promises that a heavy Irish presence will take place at the awards on February 21 in Los Angeles.
Irish films Brooklyn and Room have both been nominated this year for the Best Motion Picture.
In addition, key actor in the film Brooklyn, Saoirse Ronan, is nominated as Best Actress for her widely acclaimed performance.
Lenny Abrahamson was also nominated for her performance in Room, while in TV news Penny Dreadful, which shoots in Bray and Game of Thrones, which shoots in Belfast were both nominated in the category of Television Series, Genre.
