Heavy metal charity night in The Grand Social
The Grand Social will play host to The Heavy Metal Truants charity gig this Wednesday May 15.
The concert is to coincide with Heavy Metal Truants which is a charity bike ride from London to the Download Festival which will raise money for a variety of charities including Nordoff Robbins, Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline.
"Heavy Metal Truants" is the brainchild of Iron Maiden's manager Rod Smallwood and Metal Hammer editor Alexander Milas.
For any Irish heavy metal fans, it's set to be a night not to miss with local Metallica tribute band Frantica headlining along with Psykosis, Shoctopus, Stone Trigger, Aesect and Beltbuckle Overdrive.
Tickets are just 10 euro and can be bought at Soundcellar just off Grafton street or you can pay at the door. Everything kicks off at 7pm n the night.
