Head Screwed On

Wicklow alt-pop outfit Monsenior have more than a touch of Bright Eyes to their sound, but when the melodies are this sweet, you can forgive vocalist Dylan Creane his slight Nebraska twang. 'Head Screwed On' is a folk ditty with real country soul. Mumford and Sons may have instigated the banjo revival, but few bands use it as freely and effectively as these guys.
