Gurriers announce new album and Irish tour dates
Nobody’s Coming To Save You will be out September 26, with the title track out now
Gurriers have announced their new album Nobody’s Coming To Save You, set for release on September 25, alongside the release of the lead single of the same name. The Dublin band also confirmed an accompanying tour later this year.
It marks the group’s second studio album, following their 2024 debut Come and See. The record was produced by Mark Bowen, member of the IDLES, and Loren Humphrey between studios in London and Donegal.
Nobody’s Coming To Save You will be released via their new label, London-based and independent Play It Again Sam. The album features 10 tracks. See the full tracklist below.
“It’s a song that feels hopeless on its first listen, but if you look at it more deeply it’s a call to action. No one is going to rise up if everyone expects someone else to do it. We all have to do our part in creating the change,” the band said about the lead single.
The tour is set to span more than 50 dates across Europe between May and December, including six Irish shows. The run begins at Mike the Pies before appearances at All Together Now in Waterford on July 31 and Electric Picnic on August 28. The band will then play Ulster Hall on October 28, followed by Vicar Street a day later, before finishing at Olympia Theatre on November 1.
Support acts on the tour include Belfast punk band Enola Gay and Dublin six-piece Child of Prague. Gurriers will also appear as special guests for Kneecap at their London show in June.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, May 22 at 10am here.
