Guides (Free album)

Trip-rock outfit LotusEater is newer than the iPad 2, so it's mightily impressive that these Dubliners have managed to produce an album as fine as Guides in only a couple of months. Here lie eight tracks of jazz-fuelled mood-rock, and the band have kindly invited us to name our price. This isn't the finished version of the album (hence the name!), but it's still a top-notch listen, and a great indication of the kind of spooky noises the quartet will be making.
