Greg Allman plays Dublin
The legendary rocker is over in July.
Rock fans of a certain, ahem, vintage will be thrilled to hear that Gregg Allman is playing Dublin’s Grand Canal Theatre on July 4. Tickets for this fully-seated gig go on sale on Thursday March 3 priced between €40 and €65.70.
Forming The Allman Brothers in 1969 with his now sadly deceased sibling Duane, he penned such American rock classics as ‘Whipping Post’, ‘Dreams’, ‘Midnight Rider’, ‘Please Call Home’ and ‘Melissa’.
His current solo album, Low Country Blues, confirms his songwriting talents to be as potent as ever.
