Goldstar
Brandishing an alt. rock bounty of Byrds-esque melodies, David Holmes' production wizardry and Danny Todd's Paul Simon-brand croon, Cashier No. 9 are pretty much guaranteed a hit record when their debut album finally hits shelves this year. Taken from the EP of the same name, 'Goldstar' even features a knock-out harmonica solo courtesy of the legendary Tommy Morgan, ie. the very man who contributed mouth organ to 'He Ain’t Heavy...' by The Hollies. Talk about keeping good company.
