Clocking in at just under three minutes long, the instantly immersive debut single from Dublin indie peddlers Hawklion cobbles together everything we loved about the trio’s previous outfit The Looks (namely, spiky guitars and killer hooks), and slaps on a spacey synth-pop sheen. The result? A near-epic fusion of old and new that happily echoes Friendly Fires, Fenech Soler and Two Door Cinema Club.
