The award-winning Sheffield superclub’s fifth album celebrates its millennium march towards global clubland domination with its continent-hopping GSS events.
The award-winning Sheffield superclub’s fifth album celebrates its millennium march towards global clubland domination with its continent-hopping GSS events. It’s trance-central time, with over thirty anthems from scene stalwarts like PVD, Oliver Lieb, BT, Sander Kleinberg, DJ Tiesto, Vincent De Moor, Cygnus X and Bedrock. It’s nice to see a club releasing a compilation on the merits of its music policy as opposed to hiring a big name for big bucks, and while the mixing is a little clinical at times, GSS is far from the cheese-fest you’d expect.
