In some kind of surreal Vanity Fair collaboration, Duran Duran have cast the world’s most famous supermodels as themselves in the video for their new track ‘Girl Panic!’ and the effect is, well… bizarre. Here’s how it works. Naomi Campbell is Simon Le Bon, Cindy Crawford is John Taylor, Helena Christensen is Roger Taylor, Eva Herzigova is Nick Rhodes and Le Bon’s real-life wife Yasmin is a nameless guitarist. Obviously, it’s a great excuse to get a hoard of sexy dames together and give them enough Champagne to make them score each other in front of the camera, which incidentally, they do better than their assigned rock stars, but the clothes are dynamite, so you won’t hear me complaining.
