Gillian Welch and David Rawlings announce Dublin shows
Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 14, at 10:00am, starting from €65.
Gillian Welch and David Rawlings have announced two headline shows at Dublin's Vicar Street on October 22 and 23, 2025.
The upcoming gigs will mark the duo's first time performing in Ireland since 2011.
The indie folk musicians released the critically acclaimed Woodland in 2024, which led them to win Best Folk Album at the last Grammy Awards. They had already earned the accolade with 2020's All the Good Times.
Welch and Rawlings' latest record was named after and recorded at their own Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville, which they rebuilt following the devastation of the 2020 tornado.
The musicians' careers span over 25 years. They have 10 albums under their belt, most of them self-released and self-produced through their own record label, Acony Records.
The duo were recently honoured with the Berklee American Masters Award, and with a Lifetime Achievement for Songwriting award by the Americana Music Association.
Tickets for Welch and Rawlings' upcoming Dublin shows go on sale on Friday, March 14, at 10:00am, starting from €65. For more information, click here.
