Gilbert O'Sullivan to play 3Arena – his only show in Ireland in 2026
He will perform on Saturday, October 10 2026.
Gilbert O'Sullivan has announced a gig in Dublin’s 3Arena on Saturday October 10, marking his only show in Ireland in 2026.
Born in Waterford and raised in England, O’Sullivan has gone on to enjoy a career that has spanned 55 years and Top 10 singles, with No. 1’s around the world. 1971’s ‘Alone Again (Naturally)’ topped the US charts for six weeks and earned him three Grammy nominations.
He has also won three Ivor Novello awards and made multiple appearances at Glastonbury, including the Pyramid Stage in 2008.

In 2024, O’Sullivan released a Songbook containing 12 newly recorded versions of tunes from throughout his career. It was recorded at an audience-free Lafayette in King’s Cross, London, and features long-time guitarist Bill Shanley as well as producers Andy Wright and Gavin Goldberg.
Most recently, he performed three gigs in Waterford’s Theatre Royal in late November, and ios set ot head to the US for two gigs in Jersey’s Opera House on December 16 and 17.
