Florence Road announce first-ever nationwide Irish tour
The Wicklow band will play six dates across the country this winter, including a headline show at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on December 16.
Florence Road have announced their first nationwide Irish tour, with stops in six cities across the country later this year.
The tour will take place across Cork, Kilkenny, Galway, Limerick, Belfast and Dublin, with the final date set for the 3Olympia Theatre on December 16.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the band wrote: "We've wanted to do this for a long time, and we can't wait to bring these shows around the country."
The announcement follows a landmark few months for the Bray four-piece. Earlier this month, Florence Road made Irish radio history when their single 'Hanging Out To Dry' became the first song by an all-female Irish band to reach No. 1 on the Irish Airplay Chart since Radiomonitor records began in 2012.
Made up of childhood friends Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly, Florence Road first gained widespread attention when their track ‘Heavy’ went viral on TikTok. Since then, they have shared stages with artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, Kings of Leon and Addison Rae.
The band sold out their biggest headline show to date at Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre in May. They also appeared at Hot Press's History In The Making concert back in February at the 3Arena alongside other artists like Van Morrison and The Boomtown Rats.
Tickets go on sale July 17 at 10am.
