The first thought that came into this writer’s head when I sat down to listen to former Fleetwood Mac finger-plucking guitarist Lindsey Buckingham’s new record was, “Man, this old bloke still has it.” The track in question that provoked this opinion was album opener ‘Great Day,’ which features a blistering solo that Jack White would sell his last bottle of Coca-Cola for, and from there on out, Buckingham treats us to an introspective journey that almost makes us forgive him for being in Fleetwood Mac in the first place. Almost.
