Get ready to rumble
...cos it's mano-a-mano combat time for Petronella and Sutras, the two remaining competitors of the Bacardi Hot Press Song of the Year competition. Put up your dukes
Never mind Crewe Alexandra vs. Everton in the Cup... the most keenly-fought contest this week will be between Sligo's Petronella and Limerick combo Sutras - the two finalists of the Bacardi Hot Press Song of the Year Competition 2002.
Up for grabs is the incredible first prize, an accolade which carries a cash value of over €2,000 - including three-days recording time in ear2ear Studio, 500 CDs with colour inlays from Trend Studios, PR support, a Tascam 424M3 home recording unit from Music Maker, a video from the Galway Film Centre and a professionally-designed website from Webtastic.ie.
You can hear them doing battle between 7 and 9pm, this Thursday on Today FM's Pet Sounds with Tom Dunne.
