Georgia is Erecting Another Statue of Tupac
And it only costs $500,000
In honour of the 21st anniversary of Tupac Shakur's death, a 450kg, €470g statue will be completed and unveiled in September in the US state of Georgia.
The big bronze Tupac will be designed by Nijel Binns who has also built statues of Michael Jackson and Shirley Temple.
There existed a statue of him before this latest version was commissioned, however it was taken down when the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts was sold in 2015.
Unlike the old statue where Tupac wore a suit, the new one will feature the rap god sporting a bare upper-body and his signature head bandana.
