Gareth announces tour dates in Ireland and UK
The new dates are part of the Irish country singer’s Uncut tour
Tyrone country singer Gareth has announced three new Irish tour dates, as well as four UK dates and one date in Sweden, as part of his 2026 Uncut tour.
The Irish dates include Castlederg, Gareth’s hometown, at the Fortified Festival on May 24, Galway at Róisín Dubh on May 27, and Killarney at the Gleneagle Club on May 28. The UK dates include Brighton on May 15, Liverpool on May 17, Nottingham on May 18, and Cardiff on May 19, and the Swedish show is in Hillerstorp on May 30. The Uncut tour also features Gareth’s first ever Australian shows coming in March.
“These shows are going to be really special for me,” said Gareth. “Stripping back these songs back lets the stories breathe, and that’s how a lot of them were written in the first place. Plus we are going to play a lot of unreleased music.”
The Uncut tour follows the October release of Gareth’s EP Bluebird, and Gareth’s 2025 US tour, which included a show at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born and raised in Castledern, Gareth cultivated a love of country music from a young age.
“In my grandparents’ house growing up, they had records of older country artists, from their generation,” the artist said in an interview last year. “Then, when I got to the age where I was on Spotify, I dove into newer generations of country – Luke Combs and stuff like that. And I just kept deep-diving into it, and falling more and more in love with it.”
Gareth’s career first took off after a video of him covering Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season’ went viral on social media. Since then, he has moved to Nashville and released a number of his own singles, including his latest, ‘Complicated’, released in December.
Tickets for Gareth’s newly announced tour dates go on sale February 13.
