Friendly Fires new album details!
1st single to premiere later tonight!
British alt-dance outfit Friendly Fires have anounced news of the follow-up to their Mercury Award-nominated debut album and we couldn't be more excited!
The band have been noticeably quiet since they wowed the crowds at Electric Picnic last September but the details pouring about Pala have put us in a most anticipatory mood. The album is named after an Aldolus Huxley novel and was recorded at various points around the globe in the last two years including London, France and New York. The album will also feature the talents of the Harlem Gospel Choir and Alex Frankel, best known as one-half of electronic act Holy Ghost. Best of all is the stunning cover art, pictured above. It's been produced, like it's predecessor by Paul Epsworth and will be released on May 16.
We have the Pala tracklisting below and lead single 'Live Those Days Tonight' will be available to stream on the band's website tomorrow after it gets it's radio debut tonight on BBC Radio 1.
