Aptly entitled Live & Rare Vol 1, the session tracks were recorded for the Jon Richards show on Galway Bay FM.
The CD features the likes of The Frames, The Devlins and Josh Ritter, all of whom show a very different side to their normal selves.
The full tracklisting is:
Damien Rice - 'I Remember'
The Frames - 'Lay me Down'
Jerry Fish and The Mudbug Club - 'True Friends'
Mundy - 'Healthy'
Rodrigo y Gabriela - 'Diem'
The Devlins - 'There Is A Light'
The 4 Of Us - 'Washington Down'
Nina Hynes - 'Universal'
Josh Ritter - 'Come And Find Me'
Ron Sexsmith - 'Tell Me Again'
Ann Scott - 'Start'
Roesy - 'Trailing The True Star'
The Saw Doctors - 'Clare Island'.
Plus there's a magazine attached to the CD too, featuring Franz on the cover as well as interviews with Harry Hill, Marsha Hunt, George Galloway, Depeche Mode and much, much more.
And all for €3.50? You'd be mad not to.
