Frank Ocean Emerges Out of The Woodwork for Calvin Klein
He's been desperately absent from the music scene since 2012's Grammy-winning channel ORANGE but Ocean has been causing waves in recent weeks as new music from him seems imminent.
As we wait and wait and wait for Frank Ocean to deliver the music goods to us, it must be nearing that time as Ocean appears more and more present in the media eye.
He's stepped out of his musical hibernation to appear in a Calvin Klein advert. Ocean joins an array of superstars who don the iconic brand in a #mycalvins campaign including Kate Moss, Young Thug, Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber. Ocean explains his reasoning for music making in the short advert, stating; "If you keep it up for four or five weeks, and then you stop, you feel like you're missing something in your day. That's what music is for me – it feels like a necessary act."
Meanwhile, Young Thug's video has already gained traction online. The rapper, who has often worn clothing traditionally gendered as female, said in the video, "I feel like there's no such thing as gender."
