Former Hare Squead member Jessy Rose returns with solo single 'Bloom'
Listen to 'Bloom' below.
Former Hare Squead member Jessy Rose has made his long-awaited return with his first official solo single, 'Bloom'.
With Hare Squead, Rose signed to Columbia Records in 2016 – going on to amass over 50 million streams, collaborate with Goldlink, support Dua Lipa on her European tour and perform at festivals across Europe.
In 2017, however, a mental health crisis prompted Rose's departure from the group. Following treatment, and a period of self-reflection, the Blanchardstown native is back. In recent months, he's been kept busy co-writing Mahalia's hit 'Sober', and working with producers Hoskins, SG Lewis, Jazz Purple, Hoost, Marc Dowding and Felix Joseph.
Rose made his first appearance as a solo artist on Ben Esser's 'Daily' earlier this year – which clocked up over 150,000 streams within the first month.
Now, Jessy Rose has established himself as one of the most compelling emerging voices in Irish music with the release of 'Bloom' – a moving, radio-ready ballad charts that powerfully charts his journey back from the brink.
