Forever and a Day
I'm not in the habit of heaping praise on David 'I'm not even going to pretend I'm doing any mixing up here' Guetta, so let's get it over and done with - he's done a mighty fine job with that Kelly Rowland girl. While I've long suspected their previous collaborations to be responsible for Mary Bale dumping that cat in a wheely bin, this time 'round, the Great European Thump (not to be confused with the Great American Songbook) compliments Rowland's trademark honeyed vocals beautifully. As the song title suggests, the lyrics are rife with cliché, but that hardly matters when a tune calls to mind the ever-fabulous Chaka Khan.
